Considering a newborn session?

Read this first!:

Congratulations on your bundle of joy! Whether you just found out you are pregnant, or even just had your baby, it's never too early to get in contact with me about your photos! The ideal time for posed newborn photos is between 4-14 days old. Babies are usually sleepy and more easily posed during this time. Sometimes circumstances arise and you are not able to have photos taken within the first two weeks- don't fret! If your baby is older than 14 days, it is not too late for portraits! Depending on the age of your baby, there may be certain limitations on posing and style of photo, but we will produce some beautiful photos regardless of the circumstances and age of your baby!

Many mothers are concerned with the safety of their little ones as these shoots are done so early. I am professionally trained to handle newborns and also certified in infant CPR, should any issues arise. I leave most of the lifting to the parent and then pose the baby as safely as possible in those cute poses we all love so much! Every baby is different and, believe it or not, they each have preferences on how to be posed and handled. We will make every effort to get any key poses you are looking for, while respecting the comfort level of your baby (for example: some babies like to be swaddled, some do not). Most sessions are complete within about 2 hours, but this time may vary as each baby is unique. Does your baby have special/ specific needs? Be sure to communicate that with us as soon as possible so that any and every possible accommodation may be made! We have experience with preemie babies and babies needing a little extra care. Don't let this keep you from documenting this momentous occasion!

Due to the nature of this type of shoot, these sessions are booked with a deposit. I am then on-call awaiting the news of your baby's delivery (with due date penciled in tentatively). When you give birth (if schedule prior to birth), contact me as soon as possible to book your session.

*Family portions include up to 4 additional family members. Each family member in addition to this is $25. These are taken with a plain backdrop at our St Petersburg Home-Studio location or outdoors (weather permitting).​

*For all Cake Smash Sessions, Client provides Cake for liability/ allergy reasons. We would be happy to refer you to our preferred bakery nearby the home-studio (average cake cost is $15).

Client is responsible for wardrobe. We can make suggestions if requested!
